Adriana Temporao

Dr. Adriana Temporao is a Senior Analyst at HealthTech180 with a robust interdisciplinary background in Biomedicine, Physics, and Engineering. She holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Microbiology and Parasitology, from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.

With years of experience in high-level scientific research, Adriana has dedicated much of her career to the study of parasites causing malaria and sleeping sickness. Her academic excellence was recognized by the AAAS/Science Program for Excellence in Science.

Transitioning from the laboratory to the operational side of healthcare, Adriana has gained valuable experience in the clinical trials sector, working on vaccine development projects.
