Dr. Patricia Pozo-Rosich is a leading figure in international neurology and headache research. She serves as the Head of Section of the Neurology Department and Director of the Migraine Adaptive Brain Center at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. In addition to her clinical leadership, she is the Principal Investigator of the Headache Research Laboratory at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR).

Her influence extends globally as the Honorary Secretary of the Executive Board of the International Headache Society and a member of the Scientific Advisory Boards for both the Fundación Lilly (Spain) and the Migraine Research Foundation (USA). Dr. Pozo-Rosich is a prolific academic, serving as the Editor for Headache for Revista de Neurologia and Associate Editor for Cephalalgia, Headache, and Frontiers in Neurology.

Her groundbreaking research utilizes a multidisciplinary approach—combining genetics, neuroimaging, and electrophysiology—to better understand migraine as a neurosensorial disorder.
